Team Bios
• Francis Mopiembe
Francis oversees investment‐product recommendations, Congolese market analysis, and U.S.–DRC company incorporations at Congo Bridge USA. Before relocating to the U.S., he spent years in the DRC building investment‐consulting networks—especially between Kinshasa and Belgian firms. Francis also served as an internal auditor at Hotel Intercontinental Kinshasa and personal assistant to the Congolese Minister of Public Works, gaining firsthand experience with national institutions. He holds an M.S. in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
• Jean-Yves Kasonga Beya
Jean-Yves oversees data and market analysis as well as the technology aspect of Congo-USA Bridge Consulting. Before moving to the United States, he founded two startups in Kinshasa—AgroTech Innovate (precision-agriculture tools) and Kasa Mobile Solutions (mobile apps for local businesses)—securing Belgian impact funding. He also spent over ten years leading engineering and validation projects in the pharmaceutical industry, consulting on government pharmaceutics initiatives. Jean-Yves holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisville and a B.Sc. in Biology & Informatics (minor in Business) from the University of Kinshasa.
